The Sequoia Park Zoo has an exciting update about our International Red Panda Day fundraiser! Thanks to some additional supporters, our Red Panda Network donation was boosted to $1,850! Sumo the red panda was happy to serve as our Zoo’s signatory. Red pandas live throughout the Himalayan Mountains and are endangered primarily due to habitat loss. This donation to the Red Panda Network helps this nonprofit restore red panda habitat, protect them and their forests, and educate local communities about how to save red pandas.
